Well at the start of 2013 I decided that I was going to adopt a vegan diet for the entire year, but after only a few short weeks I decided that it was something I wanted to pursue for a lifetime.
I have tried so many different styles of eating and none of them have made me feel as good as this has. Powering my body with plant based foods has made me have so much more energy, my skin is clearer, even my mind is in less of a fog. I’ve been getting even better sleep than I did before and I can just see so many improvements in my life.
While I didn’t necessarily start this diet out of respect for animal rights, it has quickly been brought to my attention that that is a HUGE part of why I want to stay vegan even after the end of 2013. I’ve loved animals since I was a kid and only recently did I realize how harmful the standard American diet is to our animals and our earth in general.
I am not in this for weight loss. I am in this for the longevity of my life and my health and for the sake of our planet.
I will not force a vegan diet upon anyone, but I will advocate that moving towards a more plant based diet will have tremendous affects on your health.
